Recent CTBUH research has revealed a wide variety of systems for controlling the dynamic movement of buildings during wind and seismic events, culminating in the release of Damping Technologies for Tall Buildings, the definitive text on the subject. The researchers and leading practitioners of tall building damping design, including many who were involved in writing the book, will convene at this workshop to share insights on the state of the art in this important field of structural engineering.
