Session 6A: De-Risking Tall Building Façades

22 October 2018
11:15 AM – 12:45 PM

Some of the most significant tall-building disasters in recent years have been due to cladding fires and the increasing construction of tall buildings in cyclone-prone areas. How can the façade be “de-risked”, and continue to add value as a critical functional and aesthetic component of the high-rise? This session examines the issues and the latest research into solutions.
