Session 3B: Smart Cities

21 October 2018
1:45 PM – 3:15 PM

“Smart” buildings and vehicles will play a huge role in future cities – but what does a functioning smart city, fully integrated with its built environment and infrastructure look like? How will density be “humanized” in an increasingly technological world? How can the intersection of people, technology and buildings actually deliver the cities we want? This session interrogates the assumptions behind “smart” offerings and delivers welcome thought leadership on the topic.
