Session 2A: Critical Issues in High-Rise Façade Design

Panel Discussion

21 October 2018
11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Tall buildings continue to rise in harsh local climates, and climate change further complicates the assumptions about how they should be clad. What is the right level of adaptability that can be built into a façade? How can it be cleaned effectively in a corrosive atmosphere? How much should be opaque versus transparent? How can resilience be built into façades? This and much more will be under intense discussion by five experts in the field.
